Top 100 Interior Designer's Blog

I visited a website that had the Top 100 Interior Design Blogs. I browsed through a lot of them and found the top three that was my style and that I am looking for in a home. Interior designers choose to have blogs to show their designs off and what there creative juices create. It helps other people choose what they like and they can go off of something to create in there home. They can also contact that designer for more ideas for their own house.

1. COCOCOZY
This is an interior design blog owned by CoCo. He likes anything that has something to do with houses and homes. It provides a lot of inspiration for people who wish to design there home or just love interior design. I love this style its so comfy and clean but has sparks of color and items that make the room amazing. I die for this look and would totally love living in a home like this. I totally recommend to check out this blog and get some awesome inspiration from CoCo.  http://cococozy.com/

2. Yossawat

Yossawat is an AMAZING interior design blog. You can get so many great ideas for your home. With this blog you can choose which home inspires you, or which one you like, and it goes through the entire house for you. It goes through each room outside, inside, front porch and it also gives a blueprint of exactly how the house is layed out. This blog will inspire you no matter what because it has each persons taste, and they also go through what kind of house it is and what it all has in it. Go give this blog a visit, you wont regret it. http://www.yossawat.com/

3. Like Modern

Like Modern is a very accessible website. It goes by the top 10 ten furniture or the top 10 bathroom ideas for your home. Its very easy to browse and just get a feel for what you would like or enjoy in your home ! It gives you tons of ideas for different rooms in your home! Make sure you check this blog out ! http://blog.likemodern.com/

Out of these three blogs that I have dissected and given a visit the Yossawat is by far my favorite. It breaks down each house that you like to a T. I could defiantly spend hours on this website and figure out my whole home just from that one blog. I will defiantly use this blog in the future to design my own home, and I recommend the same for all that are reading.

Some of the trends I saw was that its very modern but they put a fun little twist with pops of color and different shape and patterns on furniture. They also like to hang fun chandeliers. Also another trend I notice was like "clutter" but in a fun neat clean way and I just love that. Because it doesn't look dirty at all its fun cute clutter and I enjoy that a lot.

In conclusion I loved visiting all of these blogs and getting to see other peoples taste. It gets your creative juices flowing and really wants you to design your own home. I found so many blogs that inspired me and I will be using some of these when I get to design my own home !

Mood Board

Mood Board

Mood board Assignment 1

This week in interior design we are learning about how our style reflects who we are and also how to create a mood board. A mood board is also known as an inspiration board, can be a great way to convey your design ideas. Interior designers use mood boards to show a homeowner what type of atmosphere the new décor will create. My mood board has pops of color with a grey to accent it. I use pops of colors because it portrays who I am, I can be so happy and energetic but also I can get down and upset easily and that can represent the grey accurately. I love the way the coral and blue go with each other it shows how easily I can get along with others. I have some random things on there that go with my personality as well. My grand total for the items that convey my personality is 14,626. In conclusion this board accurately demonstrates the person that I am and all of the little things I love!
